Exactly like Sonata Arctica, Nightwish, Children of Bodom, and so on. Ensiferum blends 10-15 metal genres for to be cool for all posers-metalhead, just like thee. And their song have the "pop-format," that is "strophe - refrain" and more melody as possible, to be catchy. Fuck off, listen to Metal, not to this shit.

May 21, 2012 - They aren't mainstream, man (and being "mainstream" in the metal scene doesn't make any sense). Metal-artists make metal because they love metal music. If you want to be commercially successful... metal is not the genre for it (except for nu-metal maybe, SOAD almost has 100 million views on youtube with one song but whatever). The reason why those bands are popular, is because they're the fucking best of what they're doing, not because they're focussed on making commercial stuff, the end.
