Nov 20, 2009 - A great game! I was there. I'm glad this video include some of the rest of the game. The catch at 1:13 actually bounced off the astroturf -- the camera doesn't see it and the ref sure didn't, but it was in plain view for all the Stanford fans who were given only endzone seats to cheer from. It was THAT play (not THE play) that started the tradition of fans signaling "Touchdown!" whenever the refs made a bad call. That tradition lasted for years and years!

I don't know which network broadcast this clip, but I hope they were inundated with criticism, that the guy who hired the idiotic announcer was fired, and that the idiotic announcer never worked again! How can a college football announcer not know the correct name of an NCAA Division 1 team? Also, this wasn't the best play in college football history!

Jan 3, 2012 - dude im sry but the tree sucks balls. its the Stanford Cardinal (the color not the bird). and how does a color equal a tree? no idea. there r more palm trees on the stanford campus so why not make it a palm tree? in that way it would actually be representing the school. and ur claim about the 2 years in a row of winning? sure ill give u that but cal did win 8 of the last 10 games before 2010 so ur not rly in that big of a lead. also teams ebb and flow cya next year.
