theonesteel1 Says:

Feb 7, 2012 - What an epic mistake... All Americans are going to pay for this from fuel food and commodities ...

SuperMegaUberGenius Says:

Feb 7, 2012 - nigger president never been on the gulf cost since the BP oil spill way way back in his admonstrosity of an rediculous situation govt.

InfiniteOptionz Says:

Feb 9, 2012 - Im glad he denied it. fuckign stupid americans and their oil the environment should always come first

InfiniteOptionz Says:

Feb 9, 2012 - lol you're a stupid american nigger

InfiniteOptionz Says:

Feb 9, 2012 - Really? because we would lose all our corn if the pipeline went through. also the fucking environment should always come first before fat greedy stupid americans

ThCakeIsALie Says:

Feb 9, 2012 - What are you talking about? It's not going through any lands filled w/ corn. It's Canada, not Mexico.

crogsvien Says:

Feb 13, 2012 - The us needs that pipeline, The president just fucked the economy even more. Now Canada is going to give it to china. It could have helped bring down energy costs, that means all costs would go down. The US can't compete with high prices. Not to mention all the high paying jobs it would have created. Canada tried to help the US, but selfish politics got in the way, like always. Anyways as soon as the elections are over the pipeline will resume.

InfiniteOptionz Says:

Feb 15, 2012 - It would go through Nebraska what are you talking about?

james65508 Says:

Feb 24, 2012 - No the USA does not need that pipeline

TheBalancedAmerican Says:

Mar 1, 2012 - You're right, it is the age old problem of, "If I don't do it, someone else will." It reminds me of the same burlesque that halted oil drilling in the Gulf. The US was in stagnation as Chinese and Brazilian rigs were drilling just miles from the US rigs. The situation is not ideal. I wish we would find better ways to produce energy, but I have also resigned myself to the fact that oil will be here until something else is cheaper. Lets hope scientists will save us ;)

crogsvien Says:

Mar 1, 2012 - Nuclear would be the best cheapest and the safest way to make energy. The by product of spent uranium is plutonium. In itself very safe to handle you could even touch it, as long as you don't breath in particles. Which can also be used as fuel for nuclear plants, which isn't used in the US for some reason. The only real danger is earth quakes. So build them in earth quake free zones, the US still has to buy most of its uranium from Canada.

TheBalancedAmerican Says:

Mar 1, 2012 - I defiantly think the US can develop more nuclear power capacity. It is certainly the only thing as cheap as coal. There are some concerns with Nuclear power generation. Even a fuel reprocessing method generates very dangerous waste. Since Nuclear power plants are always next to water sources, a mistake there has the potential of mass contamination. But the biggest problem is probably nuclear proliferation; Iran is the current example. =/Mostly, i agree with you =)

SpigaloProductions Says:

Mar 5, 2012 - Im all for job creation just not at the expense of midwest farmers, one small leak could destroy the largest aquefir that feeds our farmlands, a few cents less at the gas pump or more expensive imported food? Aside from the environmental impact.

MakesRoom69 Says:

Mar 8, 2012 - i dont like the projaect of the Keystone Pipeline cause im from the rosebud sioux tribe in rosebud south dakota....... and that pipeline would go straight through our reservation..... we dont need that we barely got little land thats is considered ours......

jblcva Says:

Mar 8, 2012 - Today 3/8/12 Obama calling Democrats to tell them to oppose the XL Pipeline. He said he would not restuntil all Americans have a job? What happened? Was it Buffets railroad? The environmentalists? People in America are stupid.Americans won't do the right thing until their is no other option.

siouxfalls100 Says:

Mar 31, 2012 - Two to Three years is not enough time???? Are you kidding me.. God will say probably, We haven't taken (enough time) 2-3 years. why in the hell did I put the oil there. uh, let's see, maybe so we can use it. The government is like the book of Jude.

dsspike51 Says:

Apr 19, 2012 - I feel sorry for you considering what the u.s. government is willing to do for oil.Republican or democrat it dos'nt matter the oil companies own both, and the sioux tribe won't matter a bit. And the feds will use millitary force to get the land if needed.

evali09 Says:

Apr 21, 2012 - Agreed!

evali09 Says:

Apr 21, 2012 - The oil is there, that is a fact, it doesn't mean to have to destroy everything leading to it..The government made the right decision

evali09 Says:

Apr 21, 2012 - It was actually the right thing to do! You are the mistake..

evali09 Says:

Apr 21, 2012 - I am glad Obama made this decision, I am from Canada and ashamed Harper wanted to do this..what a desaster it would have made, there must be a better way.As soon as the election in US, election in Canada will come too:) Hope Obama will stay!

crogsvien Says:

Apr 22, 2012 - There is so much debate, but the powers that be will force the pipeline into existence, there is nothing more powerful than greed, it is the American way. In god we trust the almighty dollar. That is the real world, stop living in a fairytale. Those who own land that the pipeline will be built on take what they offer you, even if it doesn't come close to what it is worth. They will take it anyway. Stop crying about it, and stop pretending that you care about the environment.

hayden50 Says:

May 11, 2012 - "what a disaster it would have made" ? like what?

hayden50 Says:

May 11, 2012 - Obama is an asshat
