And for that matter, I don't believe they would keep a fake copy that well presented and guarded (special password) in a place like that, where Gerald's treasure is kept. Besides, 'Shadow The Hedgehog' (according to SEGA) doesn't even count as a canonical title, which means it didn't happen.
