Jul 27, 2011 - @Myddraal1 for higher power systems, connecting directly to the chassis (boot of car) only works if the battery is connected with the same gauge wire to the chassis (near the battery) also. Otherwise you run the risk of a bad ground connection and can damager your amp / speakers that way also.
