May 2, 2010 - I live in easter MInnesota and blackberries grow prufusely wild along my entire 1/3 mile long driveway. You just can't stop them either. I can get around 4 gallons per year and still leave tons for the birds, deer and bears. Thornless would be cool but I guess I'm used to the thorns by now. :)

May 2, 2010 - I rather have thorned blackberries since I have feral cats wander through the yard. I also have blueberries, elderberries, raspberries and bearberries on that list for nxt year. I just didn't have time to plant the berries this year. :(

Feb 6, 2011 - Thornless blackberries!!!!! I have never seen such a thing here in the UK!Mind you I have never seen anyone plant Blackberries (Brambles) in the UK but that is because they grow like weeds in hedges and woods everywhere.Pretty cool either way though!
