I have watched ufc / pride, k1, grappling tournaments since 2001 and in ALL combat sport its normal to touch gloves, and it does NOT happen often that someones tries to knock out somebody who wants to touch gloves, and if you do so, you become unpopular, especially in the ufc. Sportsmanship is extremely important for D.W, remember what happened to P. Dailey after punching Kos? He got banned immediately, even though he's a good fighter.
