I went to a piano teacher who treated every student as if they aspired to be a concert pianist. I did not however, and just wanted to play for fun. i put up with it, but i eventually quit taking lessons.Seriously, i know its aesthetically correct as a pianist, but no one will care if a guitarist is slouched (or even laying in a bed for that matter)
