Jan 18, 2012 - I haven't heard this song since '97 - maybe once at a Starbucks! I've missed it so much! I found this song by luck doing a google search on the lyrics that I remembered. What is the origins of this song? It's so touching. I wish that it had a happy ending to it. The song sounds like a very old world song - like from 1900 0r preWorld-war-II.
