JeffN727 Says:

Feb 7, 2010 - You would think that if the guy worked at a record pressing plant, and gives tours, that he would at least know how to handle records!

acenumbah1 Says:

Mar 4, 2010 - umm im just wonderin, how exactly did he handle them badly? xD ( just wondering :D )

JeffN727 Says:

Mar 5, 2010 - He's putting his fingerprints all over them. You always handle records by the edges, or the label and the edge like he's holding the acetate at 1:20.When he picks up the colored vinyl, never hold a record like that. Fingerprints will damage the vinyl.

acenumbah1 Says:

Mar 5, 2010 - ummm in my opinion the fingerprints dont exactly effect the vinyl, more like CD's as the LASER cant go through the prints, vinyl uses a needle and plays into the grooves, so no fingerprints get in the way. =]

JeffN727 Says:

Mar 5, 2010 - Yes they do. The oil from your fingers will dirty and permanently damage the vinyl, degrading the sound.

MissAshleyTrouble Says:

Jun 23, 2010 - Do not do business with United Record Pressing, unless you want to pay top dollar for terrible communication, unreturned phone calls, and records 3 months after they tell you they'll be finished.

seatboi Says:

Feb 11, 2011 - That idiot giving the tour needs to: A. Lay off the drugs he's so OBVIOUSLY ON & B. SPIT the gum out...good GOD that was ANNOYING! Nice to see how much they have shortened the process here as compared to the RCA vids on here from 1956...just like everything else nowdays....shorten the process, lower the quality.

Sep 26, 2011 - He spends ages going on about coloured vinyl (which might be nice for any 9-year-old girls who like vinyl) but nothing about equalisation, and not much about the materials etc.

TheMaxx111 Says:

Dec 22, 2011 - I want the shellac back! 78s baby.

MrBuddyHolly1 Says:

Mar 10, 2012 - yes that's true but the grease or anything of that nature can get into the grooves and damage it. but i always wash my hands before i throw a record on the turntable

TEACHYOUTEEWHY Says:

Mar 11, 2012 - 5 people are very uneducated about Vinyl.
