Jan 2, 2012 - the difference is bonham died in a plane crash.
jdrum12 Says:
Jan 5, 2012 - bonham died in his sleep - alcohol
drewlsy Says:
Jan 6, 2012 - NO WAY, REALLY? I guess they both did then, without Wiki'ing it - I'll take your word for it. I don't know why I thought he died in a plane crash or car crash. John Bonham the led Zeppelin drummer, right? moon dies in his sleep for sure, I know that.
jdrum12 Says:
Jan 6, 2012 - Check out Bonham in wikipedia. Under "death" it explains the whole day of his death where he was drinking heavily all day then fell asleep. He died by inhaling his own vomit - asphyxiation

FiveBillionYears Says:
Jan 18, 2012 - man i thought bonham and moon drowned in a giant bass drum full of booze,im a drummer and thats the way i wanna go..,or the enthwhistle way would be better..couple of hookers and a bag of coke.

Jan 18, 2012 - Remember this was Keith at the end of his life, and just a shadow of his former drumming self...he had an awful time even getting through the Who Are You sessions, just too far gone (and that's from Townshend himself). Imagine seeing Keith drumming in 1966...a friggin' machine!!!
arealOpia1991 Says:
Jan 21, 2012 - bloody hell ... this was keith when he wasn't at all in the best shape of his life - probably the worst ... and he stills manages to blow my mind... genius ... he plays his heart out and gives it everything he's got till there's nothing left... literally till the end and ultimately the end of him ...... jesus this man !! o.o
DONGOE Says:
Jan 23, 2012 - I met Keith (and the rest of the guys) in Buffalo,NY at the McDonald's at Niagara Falls Blvd. & Maple after The Who concert at Melody Fair in the late '60's. He was/is hilarious! We would have had them over for a beer at a good friend's house, but they had to catch a plane.
RickyPollo Says:
Jan 29, 2012 - Poor Keith. This is horrible. That must be why they put hand claps on the recording! I seriously think he was one of the best pop drummers EVER! I mean, he's just so hard to emulate. But he was hurting towards the end, poor guy. RIP, Mr. Moon.
nicar13578 Says:
Feb 2, 2012 - Keith is 2 things: The best drummer ever and the worst imitating drumming drummer ever.
Focksocks Says:
Feb 2, 2012 - WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!
mojorisin259 Says:
Feb 5, 2012 - They were most certainly not clapping because they felt he needed reassurance... In a studio environment drums could take hundreds of takes. When you get it perfect it calls for celebration. And he was extremely pumped up during the song, not "hurting".
RickyPollo Says:
Feb 6, 2012 - I meant hand claps for time-keeping, not for reassuring him. And he was hurting towards the end of his life, which is when this song was recorded. No big deal, everyone has their views and that makes life good.

harlesslee Says:
Apr 12, 2012 - Whether it is in his words, or his gestures and actions, Pete is always telling Keith to settle down, in some fashion.
OppeltDrums Says:
Apr 12, 2012 - Are you retarded?
gabylira27 Says:
Apr 18, 2012 - steve carell deberia hacer la pelicula sobre este grandioso baterista...el mejor de todos los tiempos!....ademas de haber sido un buenazo tenia una personalidad que imponia!......
drummerboy231434 Says:
May 26, 2012 - In my mind, Keith uses his slightly sloppy drumming style as a way of playing very loose and nonlinearly. If you were to tell him to use a click track for when he speeds up or to improve on his footwork, then that would completely ruin his drumming.
