Apr 2, 2012 - I dislike how my Catholic priest doesn't allow for us to play drums and guitar in mass. Sure, he allows for piano, but a full ensemble would be so fun. I'm considering going Protestant, or at least moving to a more liberal Catholic church, to try to worship in the way I can best do it. Any other people like this, and how did you deal with it?

Apr 3, 2012 - I believe as long as you want to do something that will bring glory to God like using your talent to praise God, ( playing drums guitar etc) is a good decision. I play the piano in church and I want to use my ability to serve God in any possible way I can. Hope this helps

Apr 10, 2012 - i am sorry to hear that your priest does not allow drums and guitar in mass. However, perhaps, your desire to worship can be channeled through, for instance, the youth group in your catholic church. It does not necessarily have to be through mass. Hope this helps.
