Feb 28, 2012 - I had notes that talked about finding Y by changing X to a 0 and finding X by changing Y to the value of 0. At first I thought it was for coordinates, but instead they used to form a line it looks like. Is that just another option? Also, I have seen notes with B having a fraction, and M having a fraction, but instead of rise over run, it looks like the dot is the fraction value. I'm getting too confused. :-(

Mar 28, 2012 - 3x+4y=4 for dragooned comment. You minus the 3x to the other side and should get 4y=4-3x or 4y=-3x+4. Then you divide the whole equation by 4 to get the y by itself. You should get y=-3/4x +4/4 or y=-3/4x +1
