I've seen Tim many times and - me being now 59 - I pretty much know Tommy's BOOK - and I've NEVER heard Tim do a Tommy joke.I think this has started because of a West End show on Tommy that used some of Tim's jokes - but I never saw it, so I don't know. But I DO know Tim's material is unique to HIM.In Britain, by the Eighties, a comic on TV got NOWHERE if he pinched material - and if he pinched it from someone as famous as TOMMY, he'd have been CASTRATED!

Mar 18, 2012 - No it isn't - you just read that it was somewhere on the internet. Loads of Tim Vine's jokes were accredited to Tommy Cooper due to emails floating around the net ages ago. If you can find a clip of Tommy Cooper doing any of the same material as Tim Vine I'll paypal you £1000.
