GM's divisions were (are?) divided. That's why the boys at Hummber thought that it was GREAT to introduce the H2 which killed off Chevy's Suburban. The Hummer guys got more R&D money from managment and the Chevy boys less... The system was designed when GM ruled the world, except they forgot to change it when they lost control.
