The motor is based on the Evo X's block and if u look on youtube, there is a dyno of a genesis coupe 2.0t with greddy turbo upgrade only and tune making 300whp and 300torque.....This thing has the makings to be an all new beast in the tuner world since the s15 silvia and the TT supra, for real.

Jul 31, 2009 - im not a hyundai fan, but they have been winning awards for best quality for the past couple years now and the genesis has the makings of a real beast. its using the block from the Evo and Mitsubishi actually designed the motor as well. IT has a small turbo cranking out 210hp and 215torque....with a intercooler and turbo upgrade, you could be looking at well over 300whp without spending 1000 bucks lol
