Feb 27, 2012 - In short, I hate Bill because he's been dishonest from the very start of the show. The southern accent doesn't suit him at all, it's irritating. And he's old fashioned in a really annoying way. I hate Sookie mostly because she's dumb and obnoxious. She's a very shallow character, in my opinion, and the fact that every male character on the show wants her is getting old too. Just like the fairy-thing. I don't know, I'm just not a fan of these two. But they seem great in real life.

May 28, 2012 - The only characters who are actively pursuing Sookie are Bill and Eric. There are inklings of a relationship with Alcide but that's all so far. Sam had a crush but it never amounted to anything. That's 4 "supes" who are attracted to Sookie because she is fae. There are many characters on the show who don't show any interest. The reason why these characters do is because they are the love interests in the Sookie Stackhouse novels, which center entirely on Sookie and have fewer subplots

May 29, 2012 - I realize that, but I don't like Sookie in the books either :P Indeed they do show the same developments in her love life, and it irritates me there too. I watch the show mainly for Eric and Pam, for Jessica and Jason and for Sam. I hate the Eric/Sookie relationship, Eric is way more awesome when he's not lovesick and drooling, and I don't know what it is about the fairy thing. It just really bugs me.

May 29, 2012 - Well I'm not the biggest Sookie fan but I do think she has a mind of her own, which I do like. She's not a complete damsel in distress and makes decisions I disagree with rather than being completely flat. That being said, Eric is by far my favorite as well. I like Pam in the books but I've only recently liked her on the show because she seems so much more human now. The show is really starting to drift away from the books. It seems like s5 will be really extreme. I hope they rein it in a bit.
