May 5, 2012 - I am a huge fan of Nintendo and always have been since the NES, Super NES, Nintendo 64 though i was not that big a fan of the game cube and Nintendo Wii because i felt the systems did not impress me as much as the N64. Nintendo is one of the best video game companies in the world along with Sega and Atari and Blizzard and even Rockstar games. But honestly the PS3 and XBOX360 are better systems than the Wii in terms of graphics and variety for movies and music playing options.

May 5, 2012 - Back in the days it was simple to tell the difference between the upgrades of the game systems. Nintendo Entertainment System was 8-bit of graphics. The Super NES and Sega Genesis ran on a 16 bit. The Playstation and Sega Saturn was 32 bit while the Nintendo 64 was 64 bits. Now they don't even publish the bit size as the processing memory is not published. But either way anyone who knows about graphic capability would see the PS3 and XBOX 360 are neck and neck for best console.

May 5, 2012 - Nintendo will always remain one of the world's best video game companies along with Sega, Atari, Squareonix, Rockstar games etc. But i feel that Nintendo if they don't develop a system that surpasses the Wii and the PS3, XBOX 360, it will most likely give a big edge to Sony and Microsoft in the console contest. Nintendo could still be a a great third party developer in the future like Sega does with the Sonic the Hedgehog games or Atari but console wise Sony and Microsoft are better.

The problem is that the Wii is not as good as the PS3 or XBOX 360 so Nintendo may end up like Sega and Atari which would be just a independent game developer. The last great system Nintendo made was the Nintendo 64 in my opinion and after that with the Gamecube and Wii it has been downhill disappointment for me.
