Not to say that Tyler wouldn't be making films at this point. But, we should give credit where it belongs, and that is with all of the foundational work from Spike at a time when it was even harder for a Black film maker, whether he or she graduated from NYU Film School or no school at all.One day, we might find it in ourselves to stop pitting shit against each other.

From slap stick to those you have to think about to get. I am not a fan of Tyler Perry's movies or shows, but i respect his craft, Spike makes great movies for the most part, but i think he is a bit of a douche. This is America if you don't like ones movies don't go see them. Apparently some one does or they wouldn't have the success they have had.
