Jan 23, 2012 - It ended up being 10t squared over 2 because of a physics equation that he did not go into. The equation is y = (initial velocity)*(time) + (1/2)*(acceleration)*(time squared). Since there was no initial velocity in the y direction, the change in position became y = (1/2)(10 m/s)(t squared). It is minus because it is downwards.
