myHack -- http://myhack.sojugarden.com/downloads/*FAQs & Troubleshooting Tips*-Always backup your system prior to running an update.- When booting off of this drive if you can not select your drives go into your bios and ensure that your SATA device is running in AHCI mode.-If you get a kernel panic during reboot, the first thing you should try is booting to your USB Installer, opening the terminal and running myFix, sometimes kextd doesn't properly rebuild your system caches after an update. -If you do not wait before rebooting your Hackintosh, it may take 10-15 minutes to boot, this is "normal".-After you have successfully booted and logged into a freshly updated system, wait a few minutes for the system to finish background processes and become idle, then run myFix. Running myFix will ensure that everything is tuned properly and that the system caches are happy. - -My Twitter -- https://twitter.com/fisher12My Gaming Channel -- http://www.youtube.com/fishertwelve

Jan 11, 2012 - so once you have installed lion on the memory stick, does it boot from there when you put it in the usb? and when you save documents and stuff, does it save on the hard drive or on the usb?

Jan 13, 2012 - the my hack worked fine, and i got the bios all set so it came up with the boot loader, and it picked the right drive, but when it went to boot from it, it just comes up with a white bar in the upper left and the rest of the screen is black, no installer, no nothing, i can't get it to do anything else without hard rebooting the computer. i made sure the bios data mode is set to ahci, and i even tried removing the gpu and using on board graphics and still no go....

Feb 15, 2012 - if that's the case you can take a normal flash drive and download the Lion Recovery Disk Assistant. It will allow you to insert a flash drive, put the os on the drive and do a fresh install.

It does not find the boot sector I have an Acer Aspire One Timeline X with a core i3 sandy bridge. 8GB ram SSD 64GB. Please let me know if the specs have anything to do with this.
