Someone surmised from that verse that God and Satan are two sides of the universal creator, the good side and the bad. We as humans have our good side and bad, both are in constant struggle. What if the creator is more like us than we realize?

Sep 1, 2011 - Sorry Jarrell, but there is a verse in the old testament that actually says that. As this was some time ago i learned of it, I have forgotten which actual verse it was. Different verses mean different things to people, which i suppose is why there are so many denominations in the Christian faith. Evil certainly came from God when he killed all the firstborn of the Egyptians, according to Exodus Ch 11, verses 4 and 5.
