May 24, 2012 - I agree. He did get a bit chubby, but it was water retention and a severely enlarged colon that made him look so bloated. He was extremely depressed and sad in those final years. He needed a vacation--a sabbatical. Get healthy again, and then come back with a whole new album and show. This format that he started in 69 was getting old, and he was bored of it. Btw, this isn't his last show. His last show was actually much better, you can find it on youtube. It was not professionally taped though.

Played the wedding song when I got married n Before he had a daughter, I named my daughter Lisa Marie so it goes w/o saying Elvis will always B special. I would love to come on a site n see no accusations, judgement or guile, rather just appreciation of the music left behind.
