I was just diagnosed with stage 3 prostate cancer, and ironically, I am the same age now (56) as when Dan passed away from this horrible disease. I begin treatments this week. May 9, 2012 - I used to hear this song and think wouldn't it be great to have this respect and appreciation for a father. My father died last summer and he was a traumatized Korean War Vet whose mother died when he was very young and he suffered from severe depression and alcoholism. While I do not have any of these kinds of memories. I appreciate and respect how hard you struggled! RIP
