Jan 3, 2012 - Every interesting "ring" concept and flowers for such a big mistake on Chivorn part. As i recalled I can't even look at a girl I liked in the eyes, let alone confess my love to her mother. I have to credit Naroth his braveness. Girls here seem to be good at flirting. I couldn't even tell a girl that she is hot without her brother or father go after me. Kachana seems to be a handful character. Can't wait to see more of her playful flavor. Love the camera works on faces at the end...enjoy...lolz!

Jan 4, 2012 - I really like Vimean's mother and the salt-of the-earth actress who plays her. I don't agree with all of her ideas and actions, but she's a realistic character--traditional mom from the countryside. Did anyone else notice that Chanthy called Ratana "bang" instead of "lok srey" at the beginning of their phone convo? Ratana didn't object. Perhaps this is a sign of a thaw, and an acknowledgement that they're both mothers to the two kids (even if they don't agree on parenting or anything else).

Jan 4, 2012 - We don't know here what the counter really is. It's guess work. We'll try to be reasonable.With our subtitles, we don't translate literally word-for-word. That would give strange results, as sentence structure, phrasing, grammar and idioms are so different.We paraphrase (cutting words inessential to the sense) - to make the subtitles easily readable by English speakers. We hope 95% of our subtitling (inexact science - or is it art) reasonably reflects the dialogue flow.

Jan 4, 2012 - To Matthew, is there any way of getting this on DVD? I'd like to get a copy of it. Really enjoy the show and have gotten my sisters and a few friends to start watching this. They're surprised at the quality of production and acting since they're used to seeing cheesy karaoke videos coming from Cambodia. We don't mind waiting at all for new episodes and I'll never complain about product placement again. Also, any types of comedy series in the works? The scene with the toy snake was awesome!
