Dec 30, 2009 - plz tell me how 2 do this on a acer laptop plz i relly wanna make programes

randomname679 Says:

Dec 30, 2009 - Well to make programs for the iphone you are out of luck. unless you want to use a $175 program called app wizard ( makes iphone apps on the PC, Google it).But to make a program for the PC you need Microsoft's dev tool. called visual basic. (google it) now i don't know if i could help you with that because i know Objective C. But EVERY other language is easier to learn (Just buy a book of amazon. that's what i did) and the other platforms like win mobil, blackberry, and Palm, Steer clear of:)

Jesusability Says:

Dec 31, 2009 - Dear Sir,You must have misunderstood my query, I was looking to run Xcode on my Acer manufactured notebook, I wasn't asking for alternatives.Seeing as Xcode only runs on Mac OS X, my only option to do the aforementioned is to install Mac OS X (illegally) on my machine, which I do not wish to do.Good day to you,Sincerely, Jesusability.

randomname679 Says:

Dec 31, 2009 - sorry, but the alternative that was made by Physar was recently shut down by apple. and even if you did. your PCs specks would most likely not meet xcode's demands. If you are really serious about building apps for the mac and iphone, i would suggest you pick up a cheap mac mini or a used mac off the internet

Jesusability Says:

Dec 31, 2009 - You're over your head here.

Mar 26, 2011 - this sucks you dont explain anything and you talk so low

FinalPhaseMedia Says:

Apr 25, 2011 - - This is true, for example, I use Xcode 3.1 on a PowerBook G4 1.5 GHz with only 768 MB of 333 MHz DDR SDRAM, and this is 'more than enough' to run Xcode 3.1. Although it isn't the most recent version of Xcode (preceded by the new Xcode 4), it does almost everything the same, in an older interface, and my PowerBook G4 was bought off Kijiji in mint condition for $349.00 - I recommend you a PowerBook G4 or newer, or a Mac mini (new or G4). Hope this was helpful!

FunStuffAndAll Says:

Jun 3, 2011 - Out of date slightly. The new version is xcode for or sumpin rather.

HGBSproductions Says:

Jun 27, 2011 - thank you and how do you open it like a normaly application and save it

randomname679 Says:

Jun 28, 2011 - I believe it is File > Export. or File > save as (then save as a application)

HGBSproductions Says:

Sep 27, 2011 - How much Hard-Drive Space does XCODE and several projects like this take up? I am choosing between the 128GB SSD and the 256GB SSD on my Macbook Pro!!! Thanks!!!

alstar70 Says:

Oct 21, 2011 - I want to create an auto logger - where you can create a daily running for say a courier which records time and location on a running sheet and then at the end of the shift print out the log - could this work on Xcode?

csprestonable Says:

Dec 21, 2011 - Learning to build mobile applications is not an easy endeavor. It can be done, but you must have the drive and the aptitude (plus the time) to overcome the challenges. If you are looking to create a mobile app for your business (or idea), you would probably be smart to simply hire a qualified professional.I know many talented (and affordable) mobile developers (freelancers and agencies). I'd be happy to provide an introduction.Brettdev (at) cspreston (dot) com

The21CenturyFox Says:

Mar 6, 2012 - So when you added a copy to clipboard button, how did interface builder know that you meant that feild of text. What if I have 2 fields? Great tutorial by the way.
