Jul 8, 2011 - Aye, i'm sure that was petrol, they use glass bottles to store it and there's a funnel for filling up gas tanks

Jul 10, 2011 - Please DO NOT give these children candy or gum containing sugar, they do not have access to flouride like they do in th western world. A simple cavity can turn into an infection and sickness or death. Also giving hand outs teaches them the begging lifestyle. Also imagine if a stranger came up to your child and just gave them some candy

denniscallan Says:

Jul 10, 2011 - You are so right. The local guide made the gum suggestion as something to give instead of money, not as a handout for begging, but as "payment" for the kids taking me around the village as my escorts. You want to give something - I urge viewers to consider donating money to valid child-support charities. After all the bombings and economic isolation we owe them big-time. Instead tourist could offer pens and notebooks for their schooling - visit this country.

Nov 24, 2011 - It astounds me that an American observer can see "moral hazard" in giving anything to the salt of the earth people you filmed here. There is nothing but commerce going on in the video, and giving them money only encourages more. What they are doing is what most Cambodians do just for survival. These are the heroic entrepreneurs pampered wealthy Americans pretend to be. I have a Cambodian wife and son, whose family lives in rural Prey Veng near the Vietnam border.

Apr 27, 2012 - your best tour guide is your tuk tuk driver, my husband took me there to visit last March, and that what he did. It help them in term of making a little more money than normal and it help us because we know who we are going and where... he used the same tuk tuk for the whole month we were there.. it"s better than the tour company.
