Artists go into a recording studio and are recorded using machines which modify there voices and use backup singers as well. More often than not at LIVE events they use pre-recorded vocals and carry out acts on stage.. There is no difference if your not singing live at the time your being fake. And yes I know milli vanilli did no vocals which is worse but alof of them are just as bad
