May 4, 2012 - you have to shave off the surrounding hair and place tape over the larvae and stay away from mosquitos the bot fly lays it's eggs on the bottom of the mosquito and when the mosquito feeds on you it drops it's larvae onto the person or animal and starts to chew through your skin

May 4, 2012 - This video is 3 years old, it's already done. And in reality, taking out a bot fly larvae is about as complicated and technical as popping a zit. I don't know why everyone is so critical of the technique. I've seen more pimply faced teenagers with infected zits and no one seems to care. Maybe 'cause they don't put their faces on Youtube.
