Oct 13, 2008 - i knew before i looked at the comments that there would be the usual martial arts keyboard warrior posturing "my 'art' is better than yours". shut your fucking trap and watch the video.

nhbfreestyle Says:

Feb 1, 2009 - Actually looks like he's the frog catching flies and saving them in his shorts to eat later... =]

BlackstarSirius Says:

Aug 29, 2009 - Besides being from Cambodia, how is Pradal Serey different from Muay Thai?

sombora Says:

Aug 29, 2009 - Besides being from Thailand, how is Muay Thai different from Pradal Serey

BlackstarSirius Says:

Aug 30, 2009 - So what you're saying is that Pradal Serey is in fact a bastardization of Muay Thai?

sombora Says:

Aug 31, 2009 - So what are YOU saying. Is Muay Thai a bastardization of Pradal Serey?

BlackstarSirius Says:

Aug 31, 2009 - I don't know. Is it? That's what I've been asking.

sombora Says:

Aug 31, 2009 - Neither is a bastardization of the other. This is an informative video to introduce or awaken others to what 98.43 percent of martial arts enthusiasts may not know: that Muay Thai is not a sport solely belonging to and entirely contained in the 500,000 + square kilometers of the nation currently called Thai-Land. The Laotions, Burmese, and Cambodians deserve the right to have their sports recognized.

sombora Says:

Aug 31, 2009 - But many ignorant people will attack and say that their these Kun Khmer, Muay Lao, or Letwei is Muay Thai. Complete ignorance and arrogance. As to your question, a trained eye will no the difference between the four sports.

0MorbidAngel0 Says:

Oct 16, 2009 - can you please say at least the difference between muay thai and pradal serey?? i think the biggest differences are between lethwei and muay thai/lao or pradal serey... maybe the pradal serey is a little bit "electric" than the thai?

TheBeastmaster2000 Says:

Nov 24, 2009 - I agree with BlackstarSirius. It'd have been nice if you answered the question instead of repeating it and changing the odd word.

MuayBoranWarrior Says:

Dec 13, 2009 - That is if they don't first call it Karate. It's a very disrespectful thing to do.

Genukie Says:

Jan 26, 2010 - pradal serey, is the original form "Muy Thai" was stolen, renamed and restricted for pansies

Fight4YourDreams Says:

Feb 18, 2010 - but i heard that muay thai is originated in cambodia in 9 century and the thais stole the art and claim the art was originated in the 13 century in thailand.and also the whole thai culture the script derived from khmer script and more.correct me when im false

lpbmartialarts Says:

May 7, 2010 - The main difference among these sports are the rule set. Lethwei is more the extreme since it is bareknuckle and allows slams and head but. Pradal serey allows slams too(I think) Muay thai is mostly standing, but over all they are quite similiar.

khmerbraveheart Says:

Aug 14, 2010 - 2:10 it means hes gonne be the winner picking up the money and putting in his pocket.

CrazedOutMoney Says:

Nov 14, 2010 - 1 please dont put these songs onto a Pradal Serey vid. 2nd This is not a bastardization of anything, This style was developed and such from cambodia. Another style from cambodia which is probably which led into Pradal Serey is known as Bokator, it is an ancient style that is carved onto the walls of our temple the Ankor Wat. please dont mistake this style as a bastardization of another country.

Feb 3, 2011 - Brothers (and Sisters --hopefully,) if you claim to be Martial Artists, care about LINEAGE: study, and watch! I'm a chick, probably 2-3x your age, 20-100 lbs lighter than you... In addition, I care deeply about international martials, and I have a brain and a heart. You do to too: use them! (Apologies in advance for any typos or spelling errors: those are NOT my bag/s.

ThePr0gram Says:

Feb 28, 2011 - is this rammstein?

ThePr0gram Says:

Feb 28, 2011 - Rammstein on a Pradal Serey vid? NICE

jojospider1 Says:

Mar 31, 2011 - Any one know the name of the song?????

OiMourna Says:

May 13, 2011 - the band is definitely Ramstein

bendle34 Says:

Sep 25, 2011 - i dont know much about martial arts so forgive me if i am wrong. to me it looks like pradal serey and muay thai have very similar techniques. the big differences i have noticed is that when you see two muay thai fighters they seem to be reserved as if they are sizing each other up and looking for an unguarded area to attack. while pradal serey they seem to be really fearless (i'm not saying muay thai isnt fearless), they just get straight to it and give all they have.

bargeanimal Says:

Nov 16, 2011 - I train in Muay Thai but I think the Khmer's have a very good argument. I'm delighted to see Cambodia gaining ground on what they deserve. I believe they are the creators of South East Asian boxing and they deserve credit. Cambodia has been through a terrible time and I hope they continue to do very well with this magnificent art. Ignore the stupid posts.

ahxpluhh Says:

Nov 27, 2011 - I'm a Cambodian guy training in muay thai in the US and I just want to say that I don't care who originally created the martial art, the're both very simular and very great! Please stop the hating, we are all asians.
