May 25, 2012 - The amount of money U.S. government gave to the auto industry is peanuts compared to what the U.S. government gave to Banks & other financial instititions. And the government & finnacial institutions caused the problems. The government WILL get thier money back. One of the biggest reasons the U.S. Auto industry is in trouble is because of government policy, specifically trade policies & their cozy relationship with the UAW. The goverment had a lot to do with the failure of the auto industry.
