Apr 24, 2012 - I'm so used to seeing the present-day bald James Taylor; I forgot he used to have the Mike McCready of Pearl Jam look going on.

Apr 25, 2012 - What happened to the "NEED A HELPING HAND " line in the first verse? Seems to be replaced by "NEED SOME LOVE AND CARE"? or is there 2 versions?

Apr 25, 2012 - We saw JT at Riverfront Colliseum in Cincinnati, 1981 or 82 - and the air itself was electric. The audience had hung on ever word of every JT classic for over an hour; then he played and sang this tune. Whoa. Afterward came the longest standing ovation in Riverfront history - really. Over fifteen minutes of applause. The band members sat on amps and looked at each other, everybody just shrugged and it kept going. JT finally sat cross-legged in the floor and bowed like a Yogi till it stopped.

May 2, 2012 - To redpunchbug, I didn't know that, thanks...I thought JT was the one who wrote the song! Carole King was brillant then...I still love the song, and someone special too...
Honeydew7396 Says:
May 7, 2012 - The original by Carole King is "some loving care"; James changed it later on to "a helping hand."
Honeydew7396 Says:
May 7, 2012 - There were plenty of showy, over-the-top performers back then, too. Queen, Elton John, and Styx are prime examples.

May 23, 2012 - The World ate them and shit them out dead. They came w/songs of Love and Purpose and the Machine/system Kills that Love and Purpose as IT Distorts all Truth and makes Truth and Love as compromised as the shills who Profit from the frauds who populate your radios pretending to be as James, their NOT. They are purchased for a sum and become as dead as the men who merchandise them.True uncompromising music still exist just not on radios run by profiteers. You gotta dig a lil deeper IF you want Truth
