Just like any other form of Music; "Electronic music" has many branches, making dubstep, happy hardcore, techno, hardstyle, trance, etc. And in each of those branches is a sub genre, like Drumstep (which is a branch of dubstep, with drum n' bass), hardstep (hardstyle and dubstep), hard trance (Hardstyle and trance), and on and on. Not bashing any of you, just like to inform people.
