Star Wars IV thru VI Vader & The Emperor displyed why they were so dangerous. In the prequels, sad to say there was "no one" of interest on the Sith or Jedi that kept my attention. Well, Darth Maul,Yoda,Greivous,Mace,Count Dooku,Anakin & Obi Wan would've been more interesting, If only they'd given them more frakkin "character development". How hard is that??????????

The reason many people like consoles (myself included although I am a pc guy) is because of their speed and faster start up, easier built in communication system etc. Many people like the same old thing and as long as company's horde money off of all these people who buy their consoles, they ain't going to change. Not saying it isn't possible but both tech and peoples opinions would both need to advance...a lot.
