May 6, 2012 - you are 100% right. nobody is forcing me to buy games.but look. i played mass effect 1 and 2 und and was really satisfied with these games (i havent bought any dlc in my life yet). i preordered ME3.i wasnt even upset about the 1.day dlc, bc i dont buy any, but dude at the end i felt ripped off pretty hard by EA.(dont need to tell you why, do i ?...)the whole promotion were shameless lies. EA still got my money...playing video games is a hobby of mine and im just upset of the way its going.
MrCyles Says:
May 6, 2012 - and i forgot.you are right, some games are complete, because they are starting to put the dlc on the disc. you just need to play for it to be unlocked...come on...
YavorC Says:
May 6, 2012 - Mass Effect 3 was an amazing game up until the last several minutes, by far the best of the three. So we are going to hate the game because 2% of it isn't good and completely ignore the 98% that were great? No, I still don't get you. Even more so considering Bio is making a DLC that helps explain the ending FOR FREE.And because of that we are going to ignore all the great games that came out only last year (Deus Ex3, Skyrim, Batman: AC, Dark Souls, Uncharted 3 and so forth)? Not me.
MrCyles Says:
May 6, 2012 - i was disoppointed. i planned on playing me3 more than once, but the ending made me not to do so =( (we dont want to discuss the consequences of the ending, do we ? :D) i respect your opinion tho, but i wasnt trash talking about great games like skyrim, dark souls etc. im upset about those game which could have been milestones, but came out filled with nasty, greedy ideas from publishers like EA...its not just EA. there are many out there right now. i used EA as an example
YavorC Says:
May 6, 2012 - Here is another point I want to make - stop always blaming the publishers. Very often it's their fault (DA 2), in the case of ME3 it was NOT. It was BioWare and BioWare only that came up with that ending. It's also funny how many people choose to forget all the good games EA has published (Battlefield 3, Dead Space 2, KoA: Reckoning and so on).And the way I understood your first comment it did seem like you were putting all games under one ugly banner, Skyrim and DC included...
MrCyles Says:
May 6, 2012 - again, i agree partly. bioware came up with that ending and in some cases the developers are guilty, BUT the publishers are responsible for the schedule. there wasnt any time for a good ending and it shows... its not realistic that bioware wanted to end an epic trilogy with three colours. i hope you see my point :D
YavorC Says:
May 6, 2012 - They had more than 2 years, about as much time as they had for ME2, all the tech, a bigger team and years of planning before even ME1 had released. Even though I do not dislike the ending as much as many people do, there is no excuse for it. In this case there is absolutely no way to pin it on EA
despondosphilosophy Says:
May 7, 2012 - Rick Perry was inside their building... coincidence? XD
physalis17 Says:
May 9, 2012 - We are going to see 1983 all over again if the next Xbox and Playstation block used games.
DEFkon001 Says:
May 9, 2012 - You're not the only person thinking that.
B3H3M0THK1NG Says:
May 10, 2012 - the industry is waaay too big to crash again. i highly doubt anything that happens would stop this incredible industry.
muzboz Says:
May 12, 2012 - Nintendo had quality control, but unfortunately, no games I ever wanted to play.I think I liked the organic experimental free market of open platforms, and the greater power and memory of the PC in the 1984 era.
mallpunk182 Says:
May 21, 2012 - Great video. I really wanted to get my head round what the video game crash was all about as I can use it for my business coursework... wikipedia is too wordy so thank you for making it easy to understand!
AidGum Says:
May 21, 2012 - big rigs: over the road racing was incomplete
lucasliso Says:
May 21, 2012 - One factor of the crash: It switched the dominant country of the video game industry from the USA to Japan, a standard that is still going on today, with the Xbox being the only US made console that is selling well. Almost all of third party developers are in Japan as well, and only some chosen few are from the USA or Europe.
dathip Says:
May 23, 2012 - CAPCOM and EA alone will cause this until gamers STOP buying from these idiots due to their bad business practices.
KuroCartoonist Says:
May 25, 2012 - so it is true there is a hidden landfill of Atari ET and other games I thought that was just a joke made in gaming history at Atari expense I'll add looking for it games in my bucket list
haters123 Says:
May 26, 2012 - Hey console kids. Want to know why I keep calling you kids? Because that's what consoles were originally for. KIDS! You faggots ruin gaming franchises(Battlefield, Crysis, CoD) and you are the scum of the gaming industry with you never wanting challenge or innovation.
haters123 Says:
May 26, 2012 - I'd rather play Pac Man/E.T for the Atari 2600, and Big Rigs:OTRR rather than the overhyped kiddie COD anyways.
alextheguardianangel Says:
May 26, 2012 - blame EA and capcom.
AidGum Says:
May 27, 2012 - and infinity ward
Elijan1996 Says:
May 28, 2012 - not all are horrible, look at mass effect
AidGum Says:
May 29, 2012 - and namco bandai
megajoshii911 Says:
May 29, 2012 - Avgn

MrCyles Says:
May 6, 2012 - i see your point. my comment wasnt dead sirious, but still kinda true, dont you think ? nobody would buy a car to just pay for some important part of it afterwards. like a back seat (dlc)you wont pay for something like that in a car. it must be in it!you are better off buying some really good stuff like a trailer for vacation which really is a great addition to your car (addon). see my point ? my english sucks btw.
