Jan 20, 2012 - I have this exact one, the 07 WR450F, and I can truly say it's an amazing bike. It's light, it's thin, and the right amount of power for my size. I'm 5'7 and just under 200 pounds, so it is a little tall for me but I manage. I'll probably lower it an inch and get a softer seat. I want to get a bigger tank too for the desert trips. I got a steering stabilizer on it, and I totally recommend the Acerbis hand guards. The ones that wrap all the way around and screw into the side of the handle bars.

If you're looking for a bike for the track, then maybe the yz250 is for you? have you ridden a 250cc 2-stroke before? the 450 will probably seem like a tank compared to it.trail riding? then maybe the wr450 is for you. the 450cc 4-stroke & 250cc 2-stroke both have their strong and weak points, but they're both very reliable, durable.
