Feb 25, 2011 - Insanity is Cardio, you wont have enough gas to do more after ur done I promise. My recomendation is to do insanity but only if you are not too fat, i mean like 25-30% body fat, it is high impact and u may hurt ur back,knees ,shins , if you are too big start with p90x first then for 3 moths then do the insanity program

Mar 1, 2011 - You can do a split training session. I did a 2mile run in 15mins before the workout and I was regretting it haha. It all depends on your goals but eventually your body will eat up the muscle to help recover so eat right.

Mar 14, 2011 - lol the first time i did insanity i was about 30% fat.....i quit. now im even worse about 40% fat and im doin insanity again...but i keep up fine i just push through and ignore the "inconvinience" aka pain. so i dont think it matters if your that fat because you are goin at your own pace, but then again i used to work out 6 days a week and was in good shape and im young, so if your older then yeah the extra fat might put extra strain on your knees and back.
