Mar 9, 2011 - BMW made great engines - including jet engines for the Mescherschmitt ME-262, also bombers and seaplanes. The logo for BMW reflects this history - it's based on a propeller, just as Mitsubishi's logo is. My previous car: '97 Legacy GT 2.5. Curent car: '03 Outback VDC H6-3.0. Next car: a Subaru, but I'm not yet sure which model, though.MY car doesn't drive like a shopping trolley. I'd also love to see someone follow me in an M3. It'd be OK - I have tow ropes.

Mar 18, 2011 - Funny how people talk about aero engines and cars together like its a badge of honer. Everyone from Ford to Bugatti, Honda and Alfa Romeo has made aero engines at some point but it has nothing to do with there automotive industry. BMW made aero engines over 50 years ago...so what?
