Jan 26, 2008 - i have reading anxiety,,i would get terrified of reading a piece of text around my classmates and when i am offered to read i will get into this panick mode. I CANNOT CONTROL IT !!! i've tried :(
CharlesLinden Says:
Jan 26, 2008 - Your baseline levels of anxiety must be ellevated prior to reading in order for them to rise dramatically when you read. You need to address the core anxiety and it will make public reading much easier. Charles

Feb 6, 2008 - Thank you
CharlesLinden Says:
Feb 6, 2008 - Very normal. Many people experience night time and sleep anxiety and panic attacks. You MUST take care of your diet though Jules, much night time (and daytime) anxiety can be made worse by poor nutrition and fluctuating blood sugar levels!!

CharlesLinden Says:
Mar 5, 2008 - People of any age can experience high anxiety... it isn't just an adult 'thing'. We all react to stress differently and we are all genetically different. Charles
CharlesLinden Says:
Mar 5, 2008 - This is a very common 'what if' thought process in anxiety disorder. If you eliminate your inappropriate anxiety, you won't focus on these 'fear of consequences' thoughts. Charles
CharlesLinden Says:
Mar 5, 2008 - It is sometimes difficult to differentiate between anxiety sensations and side effects of medications; I have experienced this dilema first hand. What I can say is that regardless of their cause, these symptoms are harmless and you should focus on a practical programme of anxiety elimination instead of always focusing on how you feel. I know it's hard, I have been there too. Charles
CharlesLinden Says:
Mar 5, 2008 - You should really get back to school! The thing is, you now KNOW that nothing you experience can harm you and you should be comfortable enough to be in school. The diversion of school will also help you enormously. GO FOR IT! I am proud of you. Charles
CharlesLinden Says:
Mar 5, 2008 - Of course it will go away... you haven't done any permanent damage. I hear this story hundreds of times every month... for heaven's sake... BIG MESSAGE TO YOU ALL... marijuana causes anxiety!! Please get this!! Carnage101... you'll be fine. Work on your underlying anxiety. Charles
AngmarKnight Says:
Jul 30, 2009 - I once smoked Marijuana and I felt like the world was lagging behind. I felt like passing out and I had to take deep breaths in order to get back into reality. I never smoked again. For about 2 months after that, I seem to worry about alot of stuff. I have that condition of "what if" where I would think about what if I lost all my memory. I was getting better, but then I had that same feeling of the world lagging behind and felt like passing-out but I didn't do any drugs. Any thoughts?
TheRealistCanuck Says:
Aug 3, 2009 - Yes that's all normal. I get dizzy/light headed for days straight. I wish I just got the 'anxious' feeling during standing in line etc. We both have the 'bad' symptoms it seems.I get these 2 day straight panic attacks and I'm at the point I'm so tired of having it I'm just going to ignore it and start going on with my life.
ilovenickjonasbabe Says:
Aug 6, 2009 - i am 14 years old. i think i have an anxiety disorder. i have been living with fear from day to day for about a year now. i have no reason why i could feel fear. i worry a lot and i have too much pressure and stress. its just its terrible and i want to get rid of it. help me please.
molyneux1000 Says:
Aug 10, 2009 - "Disorder suggests illness, you are not ill". This is so true. I suffered two years of hell in the form of chronic derealization. I know have it under control and life happily. The first step to this was realising that I was not ill. In six months, I qualify as a psychiatric nurse. For people suffering chronic DP/DR, I know how hopeless you may feel, but there IS hope. You can 'recover'.
annedane Says:
Aug 28, 2009 - I have severe severe anxiety and the "what if's" is what took over my life from every angle. I'm 27 and feeling like giving up and feel very alone. I have had this for over 10 years now. This video made me feel a bit normal again. Thank you for this video. -Andrea
