Jan 25, 2012 - well obviously they r more influential cuz other ppl can actually sing their songs. gnr songs were hard to copy because Axl had a unique voice. so no one else can even think of singing some of their songs. but as a rock band, many ppl who know their music (aerosmith, ozzy, etc) have stated that gnr were the last good rock band out their to this date.

I completely disagree however that a band can only be influential if their songs are easy to sing. Being influential isn't about how many people cover your songs but the impact your sound has on other bands.
