Oct 1, 2011 - I was referring to how he was a soldier in the Indian nationalist armies in his early days. They didn't fight the British, they fought to drive the blacks out of India. He stated in 1908 in the Indian Opinion that the kaffir were dirty and uncivilized. Kaffir being the the Indian word for "nigger". He later on empathized with them.
