Would these work good for mixes and mastering?I need equipment for just recording vocals only, i want the best quality possible with my budget. My budget is 325. If someone could give me a list of equipment that would be great. If i take my soul headphones back to the store and refund them then my budget will be 525. May 3, 2012 - This is not even that much money on recording, he makes his gear sound special, now granted he has had that room treated from what i have seen, but i can easy drop $1000 a week on gear and USE it not just have it to say i have it actually use it in mostly my post recording production stuff.

May 18, 2012 - Not necessarily. I use Reaper and a Peavey Vypyr using the USB on the Vypyr to bring the sound into the computer. The only thing I have that cjdaudio mentioned in this video is a pair of good headphones.

PC's aren't. Windows is utter garbage. How do I know this? Because I've used a PC for music for many years and had many problems with the dumbest shit. So, if you like sucking Gate's dick, go for it. May 27, 2012 - That's your results I've been in a professional studio and thought the same way the guy didn't have a Mac he had a PC. He sat me down and gave me the pros and cons between both and said himself in the long run PC is worth it. Just because you had a bad experience with something doesn't mean that automatically another product is better. Not trying to step on your toes but I've used both Mac and PC and honestly the only different is the software the specs are the same.
