Jan 22, 2012 - I'm just gonna put this down on record. My brother went into college and got sick. He was diagnosed with Colitis. The thing is, he didn't only have Colitis, he also had Crohn's. So the treatment he was receiving was inadequate and was killing him. Because of this he got Clostridium difficile or a.k.a. CDF. He went from 230 lbs. to 90. He would lie in the hospital and not do anything. He only listened to this song. He survived, don't worry. But this song inspired him and turned things around.

Feb 11, 2012 - Leonard Cohen is an absolute musical legend, if there ever was one. All modern songwriter owe something to his work. He's just release a new record called "Old Ideas". In a really cool side project called, "Old Ideas with New Friends", some of the great bands of now have been covering Leonard Cohen Songs. Everyone from Cold War Kids and the Cults to Nicole Atkins and the Mountain Goats have participated thus far, with more to come. It's pretty cool—go check it all out (esp. the CWK vid!!).
