Apr 27, 2012 - I was pretty upset when I was strolling through the most recent version of Rolling Stone's "Top 100 Guitarists" and saw that Wes was nowhere to be found. :(

Apr 28, 2012 - haha rolling stone idiots Its Wes world still

May 2, 2012 - seriously such a joke! easily in top 3
reversethecurse91 Says:
May 3, 2012 - Well as far as the influence he had on guitarists, I would say he's up there. I can see how people would be ahead of him based on their speed compared to him, and their shredding capability, but he still deserves some mention among the top.
themaverik100 Says:
May 3, 2012 - shredding is easier than this, shredding isnt music its just technical showmanship, it just means your dexterity and fingers can move fas. just his chord solos take more skill than any shredding does. shredding is honestly something you are into as a 14 year old guitarist and than actually delve deep into music and you realize how CRAP shredding is. They do not even try to create a melody, they just run straight through scales. wes could also play that fast. LOL at guys like rusty cooley etc
reversethecurse91 Says:
May 3, 2012 - Well said. Some of the shredding can be really intricate and well thought out (some of Pat Metheny's fast stuff, Jeff Beck, Satriani are my favorites for that), but yeah, some can not really be fun to listen to. It is very impressive how fast Wes can play with his thumb, and I agree that his chord solos are amazing; how clean he gets them to sound.
reversethecurse91 Says:
May 3, 2012 - What do you mean by that exactly?
DAYTONACOUPE651 Says:
May 3, 2012 - I Mean the rolling stone is a joke Wes art and work speak so well

May 11, 2012 - They can be nice sometimes. It's nice to see some of the various critiques they have.. But they do piss me off sometimes. :)

May 15, 2012 - Hehe, thank you ... Because of you, i will have better marks in English.
beastraeatsall Says:
May 15, 2012 - It's not about marks, it's about being understood. What you said before doesn't make sense.
SweeetPicker Says:
May 15, 2012 - Don't be so rude, my last message was obviously ironic. I would like to see how well you can speak French.
beastraeatsall Says:
May 15, 2012 - Not trying to be rude, just honest. I'm studying a second language too and I get corrected when I make a mistake. It's just how it is.
SweeetPicker Says:
May 15, 2012 - Of course, and learning from his mistakes, is the best way to learn.
