Mar 7, 2012 - it is kind of sad to see, hes taking all these pills but were just not far enough ahead in technology for him to live for ever... you have to be ultimately objective and this is a perfect example, you have to stand on the shoulders of giants, he doesnt want to die right before the singularity... thats not fun to die while knowing about that... so he gets overzealous when hes looking for his information because the mind takes what it wants and after all hes only 1 man.

DaRealFiberOptix Says:

Mar 13, 2012 - Curious though.....all these pills but he leaves out the ONE true thing that slows down and can even reverse aging...... EXERCISE! It has been proven time and time again that a 4-5 day per week regimen of cardiovascular and resistance training will do way more for you than any pill can! Ever wonder why people smell bad after sweating for over half an hour? This is true detoxification. Couple this exercise with a healthy diet and tell me how you feel after 3 months of doing this?

Mar 13, 2012 - I've met 80 year olds who look as old as he does, he's taking all that shit and looks his age.Fear the inevitable DEATH, no matter who you are or how much you think of yourself, it will come to "ya", everyone will eventually be the grim reapers bitch :D

FlintboyG Says:

Mar 15, 2012 - Say he is wrong... that the singularity never really comes. But in the interim, you learn about your health and take better care of yourself. You become more mentally alert and you feel better physically, thus improving the quality of your life. So even if you take heed only in moderation, wouldn't it be in your best interest? In short, I don't have to agree with him 100 percent to benefit from his genius.

SdaBlackbox Says:

Mar 20, 2012 - D: you have some ways to go...

sorenX9 Says:

Mar 24, 2012 - I'm wondering if there would be a name given when humans pass this...threshold of being capable of living forever. The singularity? Is there a name for it? It's not necessarily human immortality, as I would presume a human could still die - but in regards to the natural...aging process in humans. What would this event be called, when we reached a point whereby we did not age, and could *potentially* live forever?

andyrooney12 Says:

Mar 28, 2012 - You might get cancer but you sure as hell won't be coughing.

GeoffTheGiraff Says:

Mar 31, 2012 - I mean damn, I was sitting in "Geology" in 7th grade and looked around the room and realized I was already immortal because I was being observed by other people... isn't it obvious?

munkdo4 Says:

Apr 12, 2012 - TERENCE MCKENNA FORESAW THIS!

astroboomboy Says:

Apr 13, 2012 - It depends on your definition of the singularity. The term itself is a mathematical construct, but in Kurtzweil's use of the term he means a time where we no longer understand the technology around us because it is itself evolving by itself. That's not yet the case as computers are not (yet) designing new computers by their own logic. But yeah, you can say that we have always inherently had the drive towards a singularity. The universe itself will "end" in a singularity.

dmann87zz14 Says:

May 24, 2012 - Life is beautiful, and death is a reason to enjoy it while it lasts. When it's your turn to die embrace it be happy to look back at how you enjoyed every moment as much as possible.

Judas130 Says:

May 27, 2012 - its like listening to some rapture theologian. the end of time is nigh, get praying, or your soul will be lost, make sure you are in a state of grace to receive this form of redemption and salvation, etc. I'm 20 years old. I'll be around, and there will be no realisations of these fictitious delusions, especially in a way that will directly effect our lives.
