ffjsb Says:
Mar 16, 2012 - What an incredibly stupid thing to do. If the pavement below had been washed away, the truck would have be stuck and totalled. And the fire gear they were wearing would probably have drowned the firefighters. They just took about 5 years off the life of that truck.

Mar 18, 2012 - And if they got stuck whatever emergency they were headed for would have been in serious jeopardy. Damned fools. Volunteers or not, they should have known better. I thought that they were taught to drive responsibly and safely. Doesn't look like it.
vk1dx Says:
Mar 18, 2012 - I am not even bothering to share or pass on such a stupid act.
vk1dx Says:
Mar 18, 2012 - Think again my friend only with a bit more naturity and you will realise that they may have put lives, not theirs, at risk if they had failed to get to the emergency and by default killed someone.
kevinssix Says:
Mar 19, 2012 - Usually RFS or CFA trucks have the name of the station written on the side. This one has RESEARCH written on the side. Since I presume its not from a place called Research, I wonder if this truck has been experimentally fitted out to cope with floods and is being tested for this purpose. I don't know, but it is another possibility.

Mar 20, 2012 - But they made an awesome vid for youtube.
ffjsb Says:
Mar 20, 2012 - Yeah, but their job is rescuing the other morons who do things that make awesome vids for YouTube, not being the morons themselves. There's plenty of morons as it is.
ziggyzedly Says:
Mar 21, 2012 - Research is a town. It's also a standard vehicle and was not at all being tested. Cheers.

macepunk Says:
Apr 6, 2012 - Holy Shit! Those boys should be commended! If they didn't break the fire truck. Fire trucks in the US can cost 500,000$. Hardly worth the life of a regular person in our government's eyes.
