Sep 18, 2011 - The song as performed by Joe Cocker was released on the fantastic but totally under appreciated album Stingray released in 1976. It is one of his best albums in my opinion and I have them all... The original is indeed from the great Leon Russell who played with Joe Cocker in his early days of Mad Dogs and Englishmen! (1969)

Dec 20, 2011 - That Album Stingray was one my favorites I can hardly listen to it anymore because my girlfriend loved it also and she has passed...hard to listen to it but I do on occasion. It's makes me cry for the memories it brings back.
