She is sympathizing the Moaist movement along with a bandwidth of resistance movements against the Indian state that has subject these people to as she calls firstly to structural violence and secondly with actual violence in an attempt to hand over land to the mining corporations and so on.

She has categorically said in another interview with Thapar that she doesn't believe a movement that only believes in violence will ultimately be able to establish a peaceful democracy. She does not ideologically support Moaists but she sympathizes a whole bandwidth of resistance movements, peaceful and violent. Violent because the state is guilty of brutal violence.The security forces indulging in strategic hamletting.You can't preach morality to the victims of war

The corporate media now would never criticize say the corporates that are funding them or that own them. Mining corps. now own media houses that manipulate public opinion. Isn't it democracy undermined?
