May 21, 2012 - The crestless turian females are not a bioware canon. The DarkHorse comic took the liberty of making this up on his own. The codex only says they are very hard to tell appart so it could be any of the genders,

Even then, a random easter-egg NPC isn't quite worthy of much discussion. We're kinda making a mountain out of a molehill. As an aside: I wish I could dance that well.
