Nov 26, 2009 - That last minute had me in tears, she is the voice of reason and truth, I now know how I can raise my children in this world.
alps112001 Says:
Dec 4, 2009 - She is a gift to India, we need many more people like her in India.
KarthikSoun Says:
Dec 27, 2009 - People like her never talk about the other side of the coin!! She supports Kashmir independence does that mean she also supports the mindset of not wanting to live in a secular society and she rather support the hand of puretarian islamic ideologies?
feroluce Says:
Dec 29, 2009 - I think the idea behind this is not what the politicians would have to throw in the faces of voters if it was a non-issue. No one knows why Kashmir is an issue. What does the common man stand to gain from it staying as a part of India? What sureity exists that puritarian Islam would not be practised even if it were? If being a part of India ensured freedom from religious fundamentalism, then it would be free of all religious fundamentalism, which is isn't.

Jan 8, 2010 - If she has changed your mind, or made you want to be a better person, she has accomplished a lot, wouldn't you say? And if she has changed many people's minds, like mine and the people in this thread for instance, then I'd say she's started a chain-reaction of achievement.
Soymilllk Says:
Feb 18, 2010 - shes so hot

Apr 12, 2010 - @FaizRahmathulla. A booker prize and acclaim. Nothing for the people she supposedly talks about. Sadly big words without concrete physical action amounts to very little. She is in a position to do a lot more than she actually does. Some may argue that her voicing these opinions itself is a big redeeming factor. But i dont agree. She needs to show a lot more in terms of actual action!!

Apr 28, 2010 - she's beautiful
Triptab Says:
Apr 29, 2010 - Arundhuti Roy shows greatness and the question is she genuinely great? The litmus test for her is to proceed to Communist China and help liberate Tibet and Kashgar where Communist Chinese are busy killing Buddhists and Muslims while the friends of Arundhuti abroad are looking the other way. If she succeeds in achieving this she can then put pressure on Pakistan to return POK back to her legitimate owners that is India.

Jun 8, 2010 - With due respect is it not time for us to leave our theatre seats and advice on head on over to the front lines with her? :-)
burningambition254 Says:
Sep 12, 2010 - i don't like her..she supports maoists;she is arrogant and preoccupied with hatred towards Indian govt and various religions...she's an atheist and she particularly dislikes hindus..she thinks that kashmir should be seperated from India..she's growing dumber with age;For a country as large as ours;with so many religions, languages, cultural, economical differences..there are bound to be certain problems..but we will grow stronger as time passes..people like her are doing more harm than good
docrine Says:
Sep 16, 2010 - "POK back to her legitimate owners that is India"? Well I am not saying that you are wrong, but it might be a good idea if you looked at the history of that place. You definitely a point here but it is important to be objective and impartial.

May 1, 2011 - What I love about her and Howard Zinn is that they are both very simple people and despite lacking the intellectual caliber of Chomsky, or a number of other intellectuals, tell things the way they are.
LaliSJamwal Says:
Jun 15, 2011 - A brilliant lady indeed! Privately she told a friend that she believes that the whole of Jammu and Kashmir State belong legally to India. She talks big this is to get mileage.Recently she mentioned to a friend that she will try to liberate Tibet and Muslim areas from China. Since China is very close to Israel thus for the first time the Jewish lobby is angry on her. At the end of the day this lady is frustrated.

Aug 18, 2009 - I have recently been reading a god of small things by Arundhati Roy and it is admirational , the intellectual detail and depths of understanding of the english language which she pursues as a second language. I'am taken a back by her imaginative skills, she weaves sentences together with a thread a litaral words which evoke you to contomplate and reflect.a highly comendable and respected woman
